Security on UNIX 11 of 12 The Server Extensions and Telnet You can use telnet and the FrontPage Server Extensions safely on IIS and apache-fp servers. Do not allow users to use telnet to access their Web content area on any other Web server. Doing so allows users to add executables to their FrontPage executable directories and causes problems similar to those caused by allowing FTP access to their Web content. |
